Keep in mind that Mr. KM and I took these on a dreaaaaaary January day (the 15th, to be exact) and I didn't have a polarizing filter or the right camera lens. But they give you an idea and when everything is FINALLY green again, I can WOW you with the amazingness of my venue.
I drove, so we don't have any pictures of the drive there because it didn't occur to Mr. KM to take any, but it is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of horse farms and windy roads. It's only about 15 miles out from Downtown Lexington, though! Anyway, so this is what you see when you come through the entrance:
Yes, that's my car side view mirror. It has a winding driveway and that's a pond over to the left past the black fence. I'd love to line this with some kind of lantern or luminary- I think it would be so gorgeous. Then you pull up to the actual reception barn:

This is where you enter. I didn't think to get a better picture of the outside (or really of the inside) but its lined with flowers and inside there's 4 stacked wine barrels and 2 really gorgeous mahogany tables for a guest book and gift table, I guess. I'll take pictures on another visit.

Now my favorite part, the actual barn inside!
In between the pews is where you enter from the welcome room. You actually cross over a little bride that has a FISH POND underneath it! I thought that was just about the coolest thing in the whole world. There are about 20 koi in there, but the pond was frozen over (don't worry, the fish hibernate) so I didn't get pictures of them. I don't know how I feel about all the twinkle lights already being up cause I'm not 100% sure I want them, but we can take them down if we want.
Looking up at the ceiling. In some pictures, it looks like the ceiling is really low but it's not once you're in there in person.

I really wish pictures could do the place justice. If I had a lighting kit and the lens that I left in Atlanta, it would be a little easier.
Up next, the outside! I'm pretty excited about that, too. Honestly, I'm SO in love with my venue it's not even amusing, just sad.
