1. We're going to do it in 5 months! Time is of the essence, but I have NO doubt that it can be done! I have an army of my friends, a battalion of my mom's friends, and lots of research under my belt. I know what I want to do, so now all I have to do is do it!
2. A is a preacher! So, lots of expectations there. We have pre-marriage counseling. Ceremony stuff that needs to be done. And etiquette that I'm not sure about. Though it made finding an officiant way easier.
3. My parents are almost 400 miles away. My mom is going to miss out on alot of planning and DIY stuff. I miss her alot, and I hate that she's not here for all this.

4. Only one of my bridesmaids has been a bridesmaid before. Thankfully, she's the one who is here! All the rest of my bridesmaids (and my brideman... more on him later) are in Atlanta.
5. FMIL doesn't really want to have anything to do with the planning. Our moms differ on what a wedding should be, and ultimately my parents win this battle because they're, well, paying for it. I'd love to have a mom figure here in Lex to help but I just don't think it's going to happen!
