But first, a remix.
Georgia, Georgia,
The sun shines bright in My Old Kentucky Home,
The whole day through
We will sing one song
Just an old sweet song
All merry, all happy and bright
A song of you/ Comes as sweet and clear
While the birds make music all the day
[As] moonlight through the pines
The corn-top's ripe and the meadow's in the bloom
Other arms reach out to me
Oh weep no more today
Ooh Georgia, no peace I find
Then My Old Kentucky Home, good night!
Keep[s] Georgia on my mind
The hardest part of wedding planning for me was deciding where to have the wedding. Not the venue- with such a limited timeline, we were pretty limited on what was available. I couldn't decide the city: I was absolutely TORN between my hometown and Mr. KM's hometown (and where I live now). I have duel emotional citizenship. Kentucky and Georgia. Three cities: A- Louisville (where I was born), B- Atlanta (where I was raised) and C- Lexington (where I live now). Numerous friends and family: in all three cities!
Louisville, even though it's where my extended family lives, was knocked out automatically thanks to little to no knowledge about vendors in the area, plus it's convenient to very few of our guests. However, that still leaves me to contend with two cities. Mr. KM is a super logical person, always thinking through rationally and with logic. I, well, I like to "think" with my heart, and tend to make emotional decisions. However, I felt this time, with so much money and so many people involved, I'd try going the logical route and use pro/ con lists to see my options...
