Will you... be my bridesmaid? Part II: the how to

Originally I was going to do one super long post, but instead I'm going to break it down into 2, maybe 3, different posts. Honestly, it'll probably end up being 4. Ready set go!

1. Assemble your supplies:

2. Get distracted by the "Grow a Pirate" you bought at Michael's

3. Measure the envelopes you bought for the pages. Mine are A6 olive green ones!

4. Cut out two cardboard rectangles about 1/2 bigger than your envelopes. While you're at it, cut out a 1 inch by however-long-your-envelope-is piece too.

5. Arrange the cardboard shapes on your paper to figure out where you want to cut.

6. Repeat for the backside and cut pieces apart. I cut the top one a little shorter cause I loved the bird too much to cut him!

7. Hold up the paper to the light to show exactly what you're going to end up with on the cover. If you're using a paper with a repeating pattern, this part doesn't matter as much.

8. Glue overhanging paper to the back. By this point I had run out of roll on adhesive and moved to a glue stick.

9. Trace the entire cover onto the paper for the inside cover

10. Cut out and glue on! Ta-da, you have your covers!

Up next, the nifty little envelope pages!
