You are cordially invited...

... to my wedding? Invitations were one of those things that I was both completely overwhelmed by and totally excited about. After all, they set the whole theme for your wedding! And my wedding is super sweet and romantic. Going with the super girly/ romantic/ lacy theme, I clipped pictures of lace invitations (there are alot of them. Ready, steady, go).

Wait, stop. I promise I'll finish my bridesmaids booklet post once I can recreate the insides, I didn't forget. I accidentally erased my pictures. Okay, go for real.

These next two were my favorites! Both from Paper Orchid. I actually ordered samples- I've got to say, they were gorgeous. The insert was maybe a little flimsy, but you could print something out on textured cardstock and it would still be worth the price. They came in about 3 days (might have been 2, but I have a terrible habit of not checking my mail) in perfect condition. I have NOTHING really bad to say about them, and I highly recommend them if this is what you're looking for. I had serious laser cut paper envy but didn't have access to a laser cutter like some lucky, lucky Bees (Miss Cola, I'm looking at you!). Be warned that they are laser cut, so they have a little bit of yellowing on the backside from the laser.

But what do MY invitations look like? I didn't choose any of these, actually. Sorry. As much as I loved them, they weren't quite what I was looking for. I chose one similar, but you'll have to stay tuned to find out which picture my invites are going to most resemble. And the DIY components that I need to get a move on...
